Hi Vis Safety Shirts

• Class 2 Safety Shirts – Designed for workers in areas with moderate traffic or background interference. These shirts feature bright hi-vis colors and 2" reflective tape for 360° visibility, making them ideal for construction, utility, and survey crews.
• Class 3 Safety Shirts – Offer maximum visibility with additional reflective striping and full-length sleeves to outline the full body. Required for high-speed traffic zones and low-light environments, including roadwork and emergency response.
• Non-ANSI Safety Shirts – Great for low-risk settings like warehouses or event staff. These shirts are not ANSI certified but still provide enhanced visibility and come in unique colors like black, blue, and pink for team coordination or branding.

To clean your hi vis safety shirt, always check the care label first. Most high-visibility shirts can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they may damage the reflective tape and fabric color. Turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the reflective elements. OSHA doesn't specifically mention "safety shirts" in its regulations, but it does require workers exposed to vehicle traffic, road construction, or highway work zones to wear high-visibility warning garments (29 CFR 1926.201). This includes garments like vests, jackets, or shirts that comply with the ANSI/ISEA 107 standard. Class 2 and Class 3 safety shirts meet these requirements by using fluorescent fabric and reflective striping for visibility.
