Multi-Color Safety Jackets

A multi-color safety jacket is a non-ANSI high-visibility jacket available in colors like black, blue, or pink. These jackets offer general visibility for low-risk environments such as warehouses, event staff, or casual outdoor work, but they do not meet ANSI/ISEA 107 standards for regulated jobsites.

To clean your safety jacket, always check the care label first. Most hi vis jackets can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they can damage the reflective tape. Turning the jacket inside out while washing can also help protect the reflective tape. Black safety jackets are considered non-ANSI and are not OSHA-approved for use in hazardous environments where high-visibility clothing is required. OSHA mandates garments that meet ANSI/ISEA 107 standards, typically in fluorescent colors with reflective tape. Black or multi-color jackets may still be suitable for non-regulated work zones.
